Hi, I'm Steve Rawlings, owner of Masters Touch. I've been building custom homes since age eleven when my father introduced woodworking to me. As a young man, I served four years as a carpenter in the Navy before settling in Los Angeles. It was here, thirty years ago, that I learned the art of fine wood.

I returned to central Illinois with my family in 1993 at which time we invested in Master's Touch aiming, quite simply, to provide the best in wooden furniture tailored precisely to our customer's specification.

We work with all types of wood in all designs and believe we may be the last professional woodshop performing certain finishes.
